Mark was born in 1977 and immigrated to Australia from the UK with his parents when he was 4, and he grew up in country Victoria. He has a Bachelor Of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Letters (Honours) in Archaeology.
Mark’s interests include science fiction, pop culture, history, and movies. He also has a slight Lego obsession.
Mark has been a guest on Kids Love Balloons Podcast, Refreshments Provided Podcast, ThePhoenix.net, ESC FAN TV, and It’s All True, All Of It: A Star Wars Podcast. Mark also appeared on the Israeli Broadcaster KAN. He runs Wind Machine Productions – an indie audio/visual company that specialises in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Danie was also born in 1977 to a British mother and an Australian father and has lived in Melbourne her whole life. She has a Bachelor in Fine Arts (Painting), a Diploma in Visual Art, and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education.
Danie’s interests include art, craft, science fiction, and music. She is not allowed to shop at Officeworks unattended.
Danie has been a guest on Kids Love Balloons Podcast, Refreshments Provided Podcast, ThePhoenix.net, WYN Fm 88.9, ESC FAN TV, ESC Insight, What’s The Wurst That Can Happen, and Behind The Music with Ellie D. She also took part in OGAE Australia’s Eurovision Top 100 2019 on Joy 97.4 in 2019 and 2020 and was interviewed on SBS while in Israel. Danie can currently be found as a regular reactor on Eurovision Hub.
Both Danie and Mark are members of the Eurovision Song Contest Fans of Australia Network (ESCFAN) – OGAE Australia.
They have been partners in crime since 2003 and live with their furchildren in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
